Warning about not correct Reverse DNS Entry but mail deactivated

Hello,

i have a domain called domain.com and email (in and out) is active there in the settings. Reverse DNS entrys are correct.

Then i have a domain called portal.domain.com (only to login for the users) and i deactivated email in the settings (in and out). But if i run diagnostics i get the error that the Reverse DNS entry (IPv4 and IPv6) is not correct. This is true but i think it should be ignored using diagnostics?

Maybe connected to Users can't login after changing default page from domain.com to portal.domain.com

Thank you

What do you mean … if there is really a problem, why should it be ignored during diagnostic ? The point of the diagnostic is precisely to report problems

If i set email to off (out / in), why should diagnostics show a error message?

Edit: there has to be a connection to this problem here: Users can't login after changing default page from domain.com to portal.domain.com - #2 by Aleks

If i set the domain.com domain as default domain the problem disappears.
