Je trouve ça important la neutralité, surtout pour un projet open-source
(mon message nâest pas la pour critiquer les trans, mais sur la pertinance de porter des messages quels quâils soient Ă travers YunoHost)

what a glitch! I am not a fan of the lbgt / trans⊠So, I do not want this errors 
on my server 
Do not get me wrong, nothing against people, but living philosofyâŠ
I really struggled, had fear, what is with my server.
I like it too !
But for me the problem is rather that by default, YunoHost that is just a tool, it should not push any ideology of any kind, even if i was never against the trans on the personal plan (iâm not into politics).
Also it give confusion, at first i also thought my server was hacked or has some problem, itâs not like Halloween were everyone know itâs at this time of the year
And i donât see this setting anymore
i dont really think thatâs political, changing the cat into other stuff, theyâre not pushing any agenda here. it just for one day, it doesnât do anything else. but if the religious-christian-based Halloween and Santa easter egg is ok and TDOV Nyan cat is not, that obviously raises some vibes. not that iâm against religious day remeberance eggs
but we might need a No Easter Egg Mode then

But still, it make confusion and since in our days itâs a political subject, we can think itâs someone that has hacked your system.
But i also think itâs very important for tools, service, apps to be neutral, and between something that is still debated in every country, highly political and dividing, or some holidays that exist for thousand of years itâs not the same
Because i think we are too much showing and talking about our ideas everywhere. And sometime itâs good to just do things without any meaning behind.
I also thought I had been been hacked or something. Please keep politics out of YunoHost or enable easter eggs inside settings for those who want to be entertainedâŠ

Yes, itâs necessary. YunoHost seeks to promote and emancipate everyone with regard to the management of their digital services and the hosting of their data. We aim to offer an alternative to Big Tech. These very same companies, most of them based in the US, have for the most part advocated and financed the return to power of the right-wing over there, with an openly liberticidal, anti-humanist, lgbtqia+phobic agenda, and did not hesitate to implement equally debatable policies in their softwares/platforms. We are firmly opposed to this.
Technology is not neutral, period. It is not a realm independent of physical reality. Many project did, do and will use their software/platform for political messages. Some altering your daily life in much pernicious way than a simple nyan cat on a loading screen during 1/365th of the year, indeed pushing for the very evil and controversial agenda of ânot being an asshole to other human beings, especially minoritiesâ: YunoHost is created by human beings, with their lives, their frailties, and their struggles. Other examples (in French) of this projectâs positioning: đ«đ· Contre la nouvelle loi de surveillance (et les prĂ©cĂ©dentes) and đ L'Union EuropĂ©enne doit poursuivre le financement des logiciels libres!.
