Yup that’s what I thought … so if you force the regen-conf as suggested, that should fix the issue

Ran Migration today. Certain things failed.
These are not starting:
- Dovecot
- mysql
- redis-server
- ttrss
Most apps including Nextcloud (critical for me) not working.

I have reverted back to my previous snapshot and all is working well … but do want to get this migration to run. Where do I start?

It sounds like you’re running Yunohost inside a LXC, and for some reason you need to enable nesting for these services to work on buster
I saw that as well … and I saw others that have had the same issue. But I could not understand how to fix it. Can you point me in a direction?
Found out:
My VPS supplier (skysilk.com) uses LXC to partition the servers when they sell VPS instances. They are unwilling to enable nesting.
Is there any other work around that I can do on my end? Or will I have to move my YNH to another VPS supplier?

Hmpf idk … I’m pretty sure that Buster requires nesting enabled because some systemd service want to run in their own namespace … Maybe there are some more advanced tweaking (like tweaking the system conf of these services to disable namespacing). I’m just surprised that many providers seems to base their product on LXC … I mean how do they manage to sell Debian Buster LXC to people without enabling nesting ? Or do they precisely have their own tweaked Buster version ?
