Vaultwarden: user already exists or registration not allowed

My YunoHost server

Hardware: Old Corei5 16gb ram
YunoHost version: 4.3.4.2
I have access to my server : Through SSH | through the webadmin | direct access via keyboard / screen |
Are you in a special context or did you perform some particular tweaking on your YunoHost instance ? : no

Description of my issue

Trying to setup Vaultwarden on my personal server to self-host passwords and whatnot.

Install of Vaultwarden went fine. I had issues getting the login page to load on all browsers but clearing cache fixed this. I get a “user already exists or registration not allowed error” when trying to create the first account. Not sure how to proceed. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling VW. I did notice when installing both times that Yunohost would get stuck on the “waiting for server” (I think that’s what it was?) during install. A refresh cleared that though and afaik the install is good. All Yunohost diagnostics are good other than non working IPV6 and reverse DNS not configured correctly for IPv4. Could that be the issue? Says emails may fail to get delivered so I figured it was a non-issue for my current problem.

Hello,
You have to validate the vaultwarden account registration request received by email for the account to be created

Ok so my DNS configuration is probably the culprit?
