Understanding the App Maintainer Dashboard

In the release notes for Bookworm (12) for “How to upgrade” it is said:

Before upgrading, please check that all the apps you use are supported by Bookworm. A nice way to check that is via the app maintainer dashboard.

Unfortunately as an app user (Admin) and not being a maintainer the dashboard says almost nothing to me. So my question:

Which filters must be set or which numbers under Catalog, Main CI, Bullseye CI, Trixie CI, Testing PR, Autoupdate PR, Error must be set or not set to make shure, that an application is supported under Bookworm and an upgrade can be done?

The idea was to see if there’s a major discrepancy between app level on main CI (previously: bullseye-based) and bookworm score. Score below 6 would indicate the app has problems when running on YNH 12.

Now the main CI was moved to bookworm and the scores need a month or two to catch up with the new reality so I’d say the original advise is sort of stale.

Hi, the link in the post contains the “filter” to list only the apps that are broken (on Bookworm, maybe also on Bullseye). So you don’t have to change any page settings, just read the apps listed on the page

@orhtej2 Thanks for explanation. Well, looks, as if I should better wait till the scores have catched up then.

What do the numbers in column Catalog mean?

It would be a great addition to put some explanation of all the colums under beneath. For my part as not being a developer, I not even understand what a number for an CI (Continuous Integration???) could mean.

Though, I think when deciding for a specific app as an user/server admin, it could be a good idea to understand this dash a bit more.

Ah, ok, means at least these are proven not to work. Tnx!
