Pleroma: Does it support non-LDAP users? What does "no HTTP auth" mean?

My YunoHost server

Hardware: VPS
YunoHost version: 11.0.10.2
I have access to my server : Through SSH | through the webadmin
Are you in a special context or did you perform some particular tweaking on your YunoHost instance ? : no

Description of my issue

A simple question that I can’t find the answer to. This page here says:

LDAP supported but HTTP auth not.

Does that mean I cannot have regular non-Yunohost users? This is linked to the recurring and unresolved issue of being unable to login (invalid credentials) bug found here:

https://forum.yunohost.org/search?q=pleroma+login

I don’t understand this remark about HTTP auth in the README, but Pleroma users are independant from LDAP users… In clear: no need to have a YNH account tu have an account on the Pleroma instance.

So on your instance you have non-LDAP users who can login just fine?

Yes ! Most of users have no account on our YNH
