[Nextcloud] A cloud for personal or group use

I updated the php.ini file with apc.enable_cli=1
But I still have this error.

To update nextcloud

sudo yunohost update nextcloud

To disable maintenance mode

sudo nano /var/www/nextcloud/config/config.php

Set maintenance to false

'maintenance' => "false"

You’re not in the right folder, occ command is in /var/www/nextcloud. Move in with the command cd /var/www/nextcloud before execute the occ command. Or you can also replace occ with /var/www/nextcloud/occ if you’re not in the folder. You can add explicit command --define apc.enable_cli=1, but if you modify the php.ini by adding apc.enable_cli=1 at the end, it’s not necessary.

As you have modify php.ini and you’re not in the right folder, the command must be:

sudo -u nextcloud /usr/bin/php7.3 /var/www/nextcloud/occ maintenance:mode --off

You can also use @jarod5001 method. There are several ways to achieve this, you must choose one of them.

On config.php maintenance mode is already set to false.

I still have the internal error when I try to open nextcloud. .

A few weeks ago, especially after starting using nextcloud talk, i noticed that on my nextcloud profile, my surname is wrongly filled with my username, and i cannot change that. On my yunohost profile its allright.
How can i solve this, its a bit annoying.

Bon, effacer ces raccourcis en doublon n’a semblé régler le problème que quelques jours. Les pics de charge (process nexcloud) ont repris :

Hi all,

I too have this error message also. I have updated to 22.2.0 with no issues i think , but cannot access nextcloud now. All i did after the upgrade is that I migrated from Bitwarder to Vaultwarden and that is basically it…

EDIT: I also did yunohost tools regen-conf nsswitch --force because i was receiving this error from the diagnosis tool. I think this appeared after the migration to Vaultwarden. I mention this just in case it matters.

OK this is now resolved. After yunohost update an hour ago, on the acpu php thingy, everything is back online.

Hello, j’ai eu des problèmes de swap, entre autre lié à mysqld, je n’en suis pas sûr, mais c’est probable que Nextcloud en était la cause…
J’ai pu faire l’upgrade vers 22.2.3~ynh1, en me disant que ça fixerait peut-être cette montée de charge, puis je me suis rendu compte dans les messages que j’avais aussi du éditer le fichier /etc/php/7.3/cli/conf.d/20-apcu.ini avec une ligne apc.enable_cli=1 suite à un soucis avec l’upgrade précédente solutionné ici: Nextcloud a cessé de fonctionner sans raison ?! - #24 by rodinux (d’ailleurs une solution semblait être simplement yunohost app upgrade nextcloud -F), du coup j’ai enlevé cette ligne (il reste désormais cette ligne extension=apcu.so) .

Mais j’avais encore une swap surchargée…
Du coup j’ai installé zram-tools, redémarré le serveur puis éditer le fichier /etc/sysctl.conf pour y ajouter ce deux lignes (inspiré par ces articles: https://haydenjames.io/linux-performance-almost-always-add-swap-part2-zram/ et celui-ci: linux-ssd [Wiki de sebsauvage.net])

vm.swappiness = 10
vm.vfs_cache_pressure = 50

et pour le prendre en compte sudo sysctl -p.
J’espère que ça va calmer les montées de charges de swap…

Merci aux contributeurs pour le travail de maintenance, Nextcloud a pas l’air simple à maintenir.

Ca fait 2h que je cherche en vain sur le forum. Je ne sait plus ou j’avait trouvé cette infos auparavant.

le fichier /etc/php/7.3/fpm/pool.d/nextcloud.conf contient ces valeurs

php_admin_value[memory_limit] = 512M
php_value[upload_max_filesize] = 10G
php_value[post_max_size] = 10G

C’est une fresh-install. Cela devrait fonctionner mais les upload sont limité a 20Mo…

Zébon c’était le dossier /tmp qui était monté sur la RAM. il faisait 10Mo et nextcloud écrivait dessus.

Are you comfortable using SSH and logging in to the command line? If so, log in as admin, and

$ sudo mv /home/yunohost.app/nextcloud/data /home/yunohost.app/nextcloud_old

to keep your existing files. I think that would circumvent the error.

another option to the original post

Another option would be to restore the old Nextcloud, and install a new Nextcloud in another directory. That way, Yunohost scripts will recognize the new installation is ‘nextcloud__2’, and create a new user and new directory for it

Did you remove Nextcloud?
Do you still have this path /home/yunohost.app/nextcloud on your server?

If you want to remove Nextcloud and the datadir associated :
sudo yunohost app remove nextcloud --purge
