Well it’s a French “loi 1901” association, there should be some annual AGM minutes of some sort, with financial reporting… I tried to look for that but couldn’t find.

I completely agree with this. I myself donate regularly and don’t expect any thanks for it. However, I find it counterproductive when people are harshly criticized for suggesting that more people should donate. Maybe it’s because I’m German and very direct, and I don’t speak English but use a translator. It’s similar in the forum: some have helped me, but often I receive no feedback on my posts. Nevertheless, I try to attract more users to Yunohost and continue to donate, even though I’m in financial difficulties after an accident.

Currently, I live on just 900 € and spend 100 € monthly on open-source projects, including Yunohost. I know how much work goes into these projects and want them to be protected. However, I would also like to know how much money is needed and what it is used for. Additionally, I think disclosing donations would be useful to identify those who try to destroy systems like Yunohost. This is counterproductive and casts a bad light on many other open-source projects. That’s my opinion on this matter.

Allerdings finde ich es kontraproduktiv, wenn man hart angegangen wird, weil man darauf hinweist, dass mehr Menschen spenden sollten. Vielleicht liegt es daran, dass ich als Deutscher oft sehr direkt bin und kein Englisch spreche, sondern mit einem Übersetzer arbeite. Auch im Forum ist es ähnlich: Einige haben mir geholfen, aber oft erhalte ich keine Rückmeldung zu meinen Beiträgen. Trotzdem versuche ich, mehr Nutzer für Yunohost zu begeistern und spende weiterhin, auch wenn ich nach einem Unfall finanzielle Schwierigkeiten habe.

Zudem fände ich eine Offenlegung der Spenden sinnvoll, um diejenigen zu identifizieren, die das System wie Yunohost zu zerstören versuchen. Das ist kontraproduktiv und wirft ein schlechtes Licht auf viele weitere Open-Source-Projekte. Das ist meine Meinung dazu.

Is there a way to donate cryptocurrency?

Unfortunately Stripe is very picky for cards from ex-soviet union countries, such as Belarus. Even though my bank is not affected by any kind of economic sanctions and works everywhere, Stripe denies the transaction on their side for my bank (and for most other banks in Belarus as well)

Also the fact that there is seemingly no way to do a one-time payment scares me away. The fact that cancellation requires sending an email (which I assume would be manually processed) scares me even further.

J’ai taffé sur notre logiciel qui gère la page de dons et amélioré l’interface en affichant un chevron pour indiquer que les choix de monnaie et de récurrence sont des menus déroulants

i also fixed recuring € donations, and both recuring and one-time $ donations, who were broken! ^w^

seems to only display the page in french though. when I click donner, to pay…the stripe page shows the correct language for me (english).
