Description of my issue

Hi, I could use some help troubleshooting this issue.

I am unable to see my display after booting from the USB and selecting ‘Graphic install’ or ‘Text install’. The video output is garbled after selecting one of those options.

I can only put one embeded media object as a new user so just posting what I see after selecting one of the install options:

I am using legacy boot mode and the only video out ports on my desktop device are Display Ports. I am using a known working display port and monitor from another computer.

The Lenovo computer is able to display video output using other operating systems. Windows 10, Pop_OS!, among others have been used on this device before.

I did boot using the same hardware setup into another OS (Pop_OS!) in UEFI mode as a part of my troubleshooting.

Additional steps I’ve taken are to validate the SHA256 checksum on the .iso I downloaded and wrote to my bootable USB. It matches the checksum correctly.

It seems a driver issue like talked here

Try installing debian 11 and run the yunohost script
