Diagnostic error DNS and Email record missing "de"

My YunoHost server

Hardware: cloud server from Hetzner - Debian 10
YunoHost version: 4.3.4.1 (stable)
I have access to my server : Through SSH | through the webadmin
Are you in a special context or did you perform some particular tweaking on your YunoHost instance ? : no

Description of my issue

Aloha,
my server is running top notch but now I updated to the latest version 4.3.4.1 and I am getting interesting emails from my server in which it complains about security issues. This made me really uneasy and I took a look at it.

This is a part of the email:

My standard domain is “philippludewig.de” so there is a slight difference at the end. The “de” is missing. I checked the support page from the management site of my yunohost server. I can see that the support page also changed and now it shows this:

There the “de” is also missing. I believe thats where the issue could come from.

What do I want to achieve:

I would like to fix this state of my server so that my domain “philippludewig.de” is correctly recognized by the server.

Mon serveur fonctionne parfaitement mais j’ai maintenant mis à jour la dernière version 4.3.4.1 et je reçois des emails intéressants de mon serveur dans lesquels il se plaint de problèmes de sécurité. Cela m’a mis très mal à l’aise et j’y ai jeté un coup d’oeil.

Mon domaine standard est “philippludewig.de”, il y a donc une légère différence à la fin. Le “de” est manquant. J’ai vérifié la page d’assistance du site de gestion de mon serveur yunohost. Je peux voir que la page d’assistance a également changé et qu’elle affiche maintenant ceci :

Là aussi, le “de” est absent. Je pense que c’est de là que le problème peut venir.

Je voudrais corriger cet état de mon serveur afin que mon domaine “philippludewig.de” soit correctement reconnu par le serveur :slight_smile :

I looked into the registrar and I cannot find an entry similar to what you have posted.
Do you want me to change them towards “philippluwig”?

to the dns records. No diagnostic changes so far it still miss-identifies the domain name as “philippluwig”.

Running now on Yunohost version: 4.3.6.2

@ljf and @mustermann I remembered that I may have misconfigured the domain name when I initially configured the server, which I corrected by deleting the domain and creating the correct one. Could this be influencing the diagnosis?

I am now unable to retrieve my E-Mails and serve my hobby websites.

I opened a bug report after consulting the official support chat and the user ‘Alek[m]’ was abel to reproduce the error with a different domain and the tld ‘fr’.

### Describe the bug If you have a domain like “trucfrmuch.fr” the diagnosis …tool will complain about not having a record for "trucmuch" if you are in France. I am located in Germany and got the same error with the domain “philippludewig” with “de” so I can expect that there are similar problems for different countries. I used the official yunohost support chat and a user with the name "Aleks[m]" was able to verify the problem in an test instance.
