Yunohost user list empty / vide

:uk:

My YunoHost server

Hardware: Raspberry Pi 2 Model B Rev 1.1 at home
YunoHost version: 4.3.6.3 (stable)
I have access to my server : Through SSH
Are you in a special context or did you perform some particular tweaking on your YunoHost instance ? : no

Description of my issue

Good morning/afternoon/evening,

Short story :
I forgot my webapp user name.
I tried to list Yunohost users by typing :
yunohost user list
It returned :
users:
And that’s all !
Like there were no webapp users in my Yunohost installation.
What am I doing wrong ?

Background :
I installed Yunohost in 2020.
I only needed to host the website of my sports club. I found it easier to let Gandi (my registrar) deal with the e-mails we received.
I updated Yunohost (with webapp) on a regular basis until March 2022.
Everything went fine, and I must admit, I neglected updates afterwards.
Recently, Gandi announced that we will have to pay for e-mail hosting.
So I decided, it was time to host e-mail myself.
The first step was to login to SSO.
Everything I tried was refused (“Wrong Username or Password”).

Thank you for your help !

Mon serveur YunoHost

: non

Description du problème

Bonjour,

Version courte :
J’ai oublié mon nom d’utilisateur webapp.

Cobus.

Hi Cobus,

Do you still have access to the admin interface at https://mydomain.tld/yunohost/admin/#/ ?

What do you mean by “webapp” and “Yunohost (weth webapp)”?

Hi all !

Thanks a lot @wbk ! This solved my problem !
This page does not require a user name. Only the password (that I remembered).

The webapp is the Yunohost administration web interface.
I thought I could reach it with https://www.mydomain.tld/yunohost, which redirects to https://www.mydomain.tld/yunohost/sso/, but I couldn’t.
The address you gave was the good one to reach the webapp.

Thanks again !

Cobus.

Great! Happy to be of help, good luck with switching mail servers

Do you have a plan for migration of existing mail? If it is a limited number of mailboxes, and you have access to (changing) the passwords, mbsync/isync could be of help to easily and quickly move mail from one IMAP server to another.

I will have to migrate e-mails, but had no plan.

Thanks for your advice about Isync !
I hope it will work with Debian (on which Yunohost is based).

Cobus.

It does; Arch just has a nice wiki (and there is some ambiguity with isync/mbsync/Isync, so I didn’t want to leave you with just the name of the utility

Good luck!
