What type of hardware are you using: Virtual machine
What YunoHost version are you running: 12.0.11
What app is this about: kanboard…

Describe your issue

I installed yunohost on the virtual machine and now I am trying to install kanboard but I keep getting the following error

Variable $ınstall_dır wasn’t initialized when trying to replace INSTALL_DIR in /etc/php/8.3/fpm/pool.d/kanboard.conf
kanboard was not downloaded: An error occurred in the application download script: Variable $ınstall_dır wasn’t initialized when trying to replace INSTALL_DIR in /etc/php/8.3/fpm/pool.d/kanboard.conf

I tried to download different applications and I get the same error in them

Welcome!

Are you by any chance from Turkiye? Notice the lack of dot on the i in $ınstall_dır. Try changing your system language to english and it should fix the issue.

(That’s definitely a bug, as language packs should not change the i in scripts. )

Yes, the problem was exactly this. Thank you, I wish I had seen your answer sooner. I solved the problem and installed Kanboard, but this time I can’t start Kanboard. The groups and permissions/users section does not open in Yunohost, the screen keeps spinning.

Edit: I was able to open Kanboard when I opened it with the test.local domain name instead of the .nohost.me domain name. I am also adding the commands I used to solve the error mentioned above. You can use them in order.

  1. If it appears as LANG=tr_TR.UTF-8, it should be translated to English
