Description of my issue
Hi folks - I’m trying to install any blog / website CMS that will allow a non-logged in i.e. “public” / “visistor” to see a public page or website.
It appears that any of the offerings - currently Bookstack, but previously: automad and wondercms - anyway, any of them that have a php file don’t seem to allow public users (users without a yunohost login) to see the website.
Why is this and how do I fix it?
You have to clear the browser cache or use a private window to test it.
And what link do you want your app on? a subdomain or a path ? your main domain is always used for yunohost portal, you can change it to another subdomain
is there a reason it doesn’t work on a subdomain? Yunhost doesn’t say anything about having to use sso if you set it up on a subdomain. and the list of users shows public anonymous users as an option - so is this a bug?
I cleared the cache, and even accessed the page from a smartphone using public data and I still see the sso login. Can I just disable the sso login altogether? Bookstack has a built in user admin system.
I can’t reproduce the issue, I just see a public bookstack when I open the link you shared…
Edit: I also installed Bookstack on a random yunohost, chose the app as public (visitors) during install, and I don’t get redirected to the SSO when trying to access it …
