What is the impact of losing rDNS?

Hi there,

it’s not clear to me what is the impact of loosing rDNS if I want to switch from Free to Bouygues ?

About my server :

  • I have a few domains, and my registrar is OVH
  • I host one mail server
  • my server is accessible both from LAN and Internet

Do Yunohost use one of these ? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reverse_DNS_lookup#Uses

Hello,
Main risk is that emails sent from your server will be detected as spam.
Several points are important to avoid spam detection : SPF, DKIM, DMARC, but also Reverse DNS…

On the other hand if you have SPF, DKIM, DMARC it should be OK… but not optimal

I assume now that DKIM is included in Yunohost, it should not be a problem anymore ?
Do someone uses Bouygues here and can confirm it works fine ?
