[Webtrees] Change Domain does not work

My YunoHost server

Hardware: VM on computer with VPN
YunoHost version: 4.3.6.3
I have access to my server : through the webadmin
Webtrees version 2.1.6~ynh1

Description of my issue

Im trying to change my domain for Webtrees and it does not work in a specific case (wanted case).
My url is now https://domain1.tld/trees and I want to change it to https://trees.domain2.tld and this does not work. Getting a browser message saying that it is not configured correct.
If I however change it to https://domain2.tld/trees it works fine.
My A record is set to *.domain2.tld and letsencrypt works fine for https://trees.domain2.tld

Changes are don in webadmin > Applications > webtrees

Any ideas why this is not working?

I did test to uninstall Webtrees and then install it with https://trees.domain2.tld and everything works fine.
This however wont solve my problem for now on my production server.

Maybe there is some wrong with config in Nginx? Any hints/directions on where to find info on how to fault find within YH?
