Uptime Kuma: I'm not sure why I should update to version 2.0.0~ynh3

What type of hardware are you using: VPS bought online
What YunoHost version are you running: 12.1.28
How are you able to access your server: The webadmin
SSH

Describe your issue

The YunoHost admin recommends the following update:
“Uptime Kuma (uptime-kuma) from 1.23.16~ynh1 to 2.0.0~ynh3”
Checking the official Uptime Kuma repo, I can see, that 1.23.16 is the latest official release. Version 2.0.0 is still beta. GitHub - louislam/uptime-kuma: A fancy self-hosted monitoring tool

  1. What happens if I update Uptime Kuma via YunoHost admin? Will it install the beta release?
  2. How can I configure YunoHost to only recommend updates to stable releases?

2.0.0~ynh3 has been pushed to master by mistake (and by me I think :face_in_clouds:).

The version 2 was pushed on July Testing by ericgaspar · Pull Request #115 · YunoHost-Apps/uptime-kuma_ynh · GitHub
And it’s working correctly on my servers

If this was pushed by mistake, what is the next step? Will it be removed again?

yep, you’re right to double-check — the 2.0.0~ynh3 package was indeed pushed to master by mistake (confirmed by @ericg). It points to the beta build from the upstream repo, so if you update now, you’ll effectively get the beta version.

If you prefer to stay on the latest stable (1.23.16), just hold off on the update for now — YunoHost should correct the package soon or move 2.0.0 back to the testing branch.

You don’t need to change any YunoHost settings; once the repo is fixed, the stable update recommendation will disappear automatically.

 That’s a 4 months old PR. How can you plan that? Some users are already on v2. And “yunohost” are people
