Upgrade Synapse problem

My YunoHost server

Hardware: VPS Hetzner x86
YunoHost version: 11.1.20
I have access to my server : Through SSH | through the webadmin
Are you in a special context or did you perform some particular tweaking on your YunoHost instance ? : no

Description of my issue

Just updated synapse. The esrvice doesn’t start after it and can’t be started.
Then I uninstalled it.
The backup can’t be installed: https://paste.yunohost.org/raw/qelokilipe
Tried to install from scratch, but that doesn’t work either: https://paste.yunohost.org/raw/suyiwogupe

Thanks! this tip in the Issue solved the problem for me.

A fix that worked for me:

vi /etc/matrix-synapse/conf.d/app_service.yaml

Change the line to (add brackets):

app_service_config_files: []
