[UPDATED] Nextcloud security issue on v29.0.5 ".htaccess file not working"

What type of hardware are you using: VPS bought online
What YunoHost version are you running: 11.2.30.2
What app is this about: Nextcloud

Describe your issue

So nextcloud is giving me the following security warning:

“Your data directory and files are probably accessible from the internet. The .htaccess file is not working. It is strongly recommended that you configure your web server so that the data directory is no longer accessible, or move the data directory outside the web server document root.”

Apparently, according to this forum topic (in French)this was fixed in Nextcloud 29.0.4, but I’m still seeing it in V29.0.5… Should I be concerned? Is there a way to test if my data is, in fact, publicly accessible?

[UPDATE] It seems from this GitHub issue that the full fix actually won’t be coming down the line until at least 29.0.8. It was only merged four days ago.
