Hi.
I made a mistake and run
yunohost domain cert renew --no-checks
Now I’d like to undo that. How could I make it?
Thank you
I’d be surprised if someone took the trouble to create a script to undo this action, or even that the creator of this script prepared for undoing renewing of certificates. I didn’t check, but I expect the old certificates to be overwritten by the new one.
Before writing a long story of things you might have to check/investigate… Why would you want to revert to the same certificate but a few days/weeks older?
What is wrong after running this command?
I wanted to use it only for a specific domain, but I made a mistake, I did not type any domain. So, as I run it without specifying any domain, I guess now it won’t check any of my many domains any more.
It will check each domain just as well, but it will take 90 days before any of your certificates expire. And they will expire at the same time. To prevent that, you could (manually) renew a couple of domains every day, in order to spread all of them over the 90 days.
No harm done
Yunohost will try to update the certificates 15 days before expiry, so you will get a longer email notification when they will get updated. I have a couple of domains that have certificates updating the same day without problems.
