What’s lost if just remove and install the app again? I mean it’s only the client, not a mail-box itself. Does it holds anything important? I can remember: keys, contacts, cache - which user could want to preserve. Something else of importance?

I don’t know your uses cases, on our side we couldn’t do that cause it could remove identities settings for our users.
