It says Unable to install the app in this location

I’m guessing that Mastodon needs a “full domain”, i.e. a domain on which you installed no apps yet. Is that the case for the domain you used ?

I get it then. I should join other mastadons instead.

I can’t even activate my instance. I don’t even know why everything is badly explained and there is nothing in German either. Since I can’t speak English either way. I installed it, but that’s how it works, but I can’t activate it. The same is the same with Friendica. I do not understand that. What I or where I have to set what the instances run. So they do run but activate how I can do that.

I’m happy my mastodon is finally running. I’m glad. Yunohost is really awesome. My server is getting ready. Have some space for everyone speak to me
