Hi all,

My YunoHost server

Hardware: laptop or computer
YunoHost version:

  • Server hardware architecture is lxc amd64
  • Server is running Linux kernel 6.5.11-4-pve
  • Server is running Debian 11.8
  • Server is running YunoHost 11.2.5 (stable)

I have access to my server : Through SSH | through the webadmin | direct access via keyboard / screen | neuromancy
Are you in a special context or did you perform some particular tweaking on your YunoHost instance ? : no

I try to add postmaster@domain.tld as an alias for a user in the admin group.

I found @OnTheWeb 's post, where he tells it works on 11.1.13 when logging in as ‘admin’. I still got the admin user, but I am not able to add a postmaster email address.

I tried via the web interface with two accounts for two admin accounts. I also ran yunohost user update _theadminuser_ --add-mailalias postmaster@domain.tld as root via SSH.

I did not see the address (already) listed in the ‘special mail account’ list.

Any idea?

It’s probably an alias on the admins group, cf yunohost user group info admins

Yes! Postmaster is member of admins. One less worry :slight_smile:
