Thank you for maintaining n8n Yunohost app

I do not know who is/are the maintainers of n8n for Yunohost. But I would like to express my gratitude to those people. Thanks a lot for keeping n8n in Yunohost up-to-date so frequently!

Hello guys, I am curious what are using it for?

Currently I am using it for getting news from specific sites and summarizing them automatically like in my template here: Scrape and summarize posts of a news site without RSS feed using AI and save them to a NocoDB | n8n workflow template - This saves me a couple hours per week.

Furthermore I used it to push weather data to my Mastodon account.

All in all I am focusing on gathering market intelligence in an automated way. On the n8n website you can find many more use cases: Discover 800+ Automation Workflows from the n8n's Community

And for me its mainly to help me coordonate my small business:

  • link between my Coolify instance and a Mattermost instance
  • reading emails and detecting specific ones (working with a partner that sends automated requests)
  • various status update
    • webhook server for a hosted applicaiton to send notification on jobs

Yes, kudos for n8n on Yuno. One issue though I found April/25, had problems with authenticating for g-apps. So how to test outside yuno and it worked.

Don’t you find the lack of variable support in the free version severly limits it’s usefulness?

That it also my experience. Due to that I have also a selfhosted instance based on https://caprover.com/
But generally speaking I do not have discovered any other problems with the Yunohost one, therefore I stick with it. Especially since it is much better maintained.

Do you have a concrete example? That would help me.
