Description of my issue
Hello, I have a question about the installation of Synapse, we have installed it on a private server (check box “public” not filled in) . In this case, you cannot register via “Element”;
But there is no user available in Synpse either. Or the procedure https://github.com/YunoHost-Apps/synapse_ynh explains how to update an existing user. So a priori, not possible, I have found a procedure:
/opt/synapse/env/bin/register_new_matrix_user -c /opt/synapse/homeserver.yaml http://matrix.mondomaine.com:8008
New user localpart [root]: admin
Password: xxxxx
Confirm password: xxxxx
Make admin [no]: yes
Sending registration request…
Success**
My question is:
did we miss something in the installation ? and if so, how can we create this first user ? should we update it ? or do we declare it as admin at creation ?
Is there a user in the database ? what is his log ? his password ? how should we have received it ?

Bonjour à vous tous, j’ai une question sur l’installation de Synapse, nous avons fait l’installation en serveur privé (case à cocher “public” non remplie) . Dans ce cas, on ne peut s’inscrire via “Element”;
Mais il n’y a pas d’utilisateur non plus de disponible dans Synpse. Ors la procédure https://github.com/YunoHost-Apps/synapse_ynh explique comment mettre à jour un utilisateur existant. Donc à priori, pas possible, j’ai trouvé par ailleurs une procédure :

Ma question est :
a t on loupé qqchose dans l’installation ? et si comment peux ton créer ce 1er user ? doit on ensuite le mettre à jour ? ou le déclare t on admin à la création ?
Il y a-t-il un user en base ? quel est son log ? son mot de passe ? on aurait du le recevoir de quelle manière ?
