When I installed owncloud on a mutual commercial server I could choose at install step where owncloud would store the user data. (not where owncloud app would be installed). This was part of the owncloud installer.
I haven’t found this option with yunohost, but I would really need it because I have tons of data to store and my server has 2 disks (it is a nuc with onboard 4Gb of hd) a 4Gb disk with the system and a 1Tb where I would like to store the data.
Note that currently the data folder is under /home/yunohost.apps/owncloud
which is good for security but not for hdd space in my case
