Hello there,
Now testing in a Virtual Machine a Debian with the YunoHost script at home. I read the documentation but there are informations I can’t get because it’s not obvious to me or may be obsolete.
- I watched a conference about DNS held by a French IT well known in France at least. He explains what are DNS, what to do with them, and maybe how. As I am planning to have Yunohost running on a Raspberry Pi at home in a month or so, I have registered a domain name in dot.tk to test but I don’t know where I can edit to apply the basic configuration (in https://yunohost.org/#/dns_config). It happens that I must have a text area to apply it but I can’t find where. In the dot.tk, there’s something with A, MX and CNAME, I don’t know what is it and I can’t find anything to read and learn.
- If you want to install another app than those proposed in the list, you go in a Github link. There’s a blogging CMS, entirely built by its community : Bolt. I’d like to install it instead of Wordpress but a message says “no manifest.json”. What is it, actually ?
- Less relevant in English, but I will try : There’s a list of ISP where you can find table of who let you do what. In it, you can see if you ISP make you public IP dynamic or not. In Belgium, my ISP now called Proximus (formerly Belgacom) has a now modem router. I looked in it and it does not appear to have a dynamic IP.
I am sorry, my syntax may be poor and my knowledge in self-hosting too, but I had no education in it, and it’s hard to find correct sources.
Bonjour,
