Snappymail not composing new messages

What app is this about, and its version: Snappymail 2.38.2~ynh4
What YunoHost version are you running: 12.1.39
What type of hardware are you using: VPS bought online

Describe your issue

Snappymail loads messages so you can view them natively. But, when you click on Compose new message it will flash and nothing happens. Same thing happens if you try to open a message and click reply. Not sure why this happens, the cause or how to fix it. But, a webmail client that can’t send mail is kind of pointless. Looking for some insights from the community on how to get this app working correctly. Can anyone help me?

I made a screen grab of the issue, you can view the video here. Hopefully someone can help me figure this out. I just want a webmail instance that is able to send and receive emails reliably.
