Snappymail doesn't send email

Hardware: VPS bought online ( Contabo )
YunoHost version: 11.1.8.2 (stable)
I have access to my server : Through SSH and browser
Are you in a special context or did you perform some particular tweaking on your YunoHost instance ? : no

when i try to send an email with snappymail, it loads for a bit and then an error message announces “Can’t send email”.

it’s been happening since at least yesterday and, although i’ve just updated both yunohost and the app itself, the problem still exist.

anyone knows anything about it and can help please?

updated yunohost to 11.1.9 (stable) for what matter, but still encountering the same issue.

diagnosis looks fine and there doesn’t seem to be any issue with the app when checking github.

im able to send email with other apps from the same server (tried sogo and cypht so far).

no idea what to do.
