Setting up YunoHost mail

Hi everyone,
I’m thinking about using YunoHost’s built-in mail server instead of an external provider. How well does it work for daily use? What do I need to set it up properly? Any tips or potential issues I should know about?

Are mails on YunoHost safe?

Hi everyone, I have recently configured the mail server on Yunohost, and i would like to know how much this is safe. For exemple, i would like to use it for some sensible usecases like the mail for my bank account, crypto, and all my other accounts, so if something happen on this mail, i will loose a lot of tings… So my question is, what’s the safest beetween Proton Mail and the mail on Yunohost ? And should i trust it enough to make it my primary e-mail for all that services that i listed ab…

it depends on the number of users,

by default, dovecot will be configured in secure mode,
and we reach the limit quite quickly, and in my case that I want to increase them, it doesn’t really have an impact…, weird

default_process_limit , in my case I have to set to 200
and mail_max_userip_connexions , I set to 20

but I have a few hundred users and some access the same mailbox
