I’m on the latest Yunohost release. I’m interested in setting up an email server for one of my domains. However, I need the domain to primarily point to a different server as a webserver at a completely different public IP address.
For example, connecting to mydomain.com normally routes to a cloud server. If connecting for email, I’d want it to point to my home IP address → Yunohost.
Would it be possible to leave the standard A records to point toward my webserver, while using different DNS records to point to my Yunohost box just for email? If so, which ones?
I apologize for my lack of knowledge on the email world but that section of DNS management is beyond me.
