Service Cockpit is dead

What type of hardware are you using: Raspberry Pi 3, 4+
What YunoHost version are you running: 12.0.16 (stable)
What app is this about: Cockpit

Describe your issue

Hey,

I installed Cockpit to monitor my Pi 5 with Yunohost and it appears the cockpit service is always dead, unless I open the Cockpit web page, which launches the cockpit service.

Services status check (services)
[ERROR] Service cockpit is dead :frowning:

  • You can try to restart the service, and if it doesn’t work, have a look at the service logs in the webadmin (from the command line, you can do this with ‘yunohost service restart cockpit’ and ‘yunohost service log cockpit’).

Is it normal behaviour to have the cockpit service dead when not looking/using the Cockpit web page?

Thank you.

That is the way it should be: " Cockpit becomes dormant after a period of inactivity. In this case, it might display a status of inactive (dead) . Cockpit automatical wakes up when a user accesses it through its web interface. To confirm it is installed correctly, restart it using the previous instruction."
