Describe your issue
Hello everyone,
I am looking for advice on optimizing my server instance. My goal is to reduce costs and ensure I am using my hardware resources as effectively as possible.
Server Specifications:
-
CPU: Intel Xeon E5-2699 v4 (6 cores) @ 2.197GHz
-
RAM: 24 GB DDR4
-
Storage: 217 GB SSD (77 GB currently free)
-
OS: Debian 12 (YunoHost 12.1.39)
Current Services:
I am currently running WireGuard, Nextcloud, Vaultwarden, SearXNG, Immich, Jellyfin, Vikunja, Traccar, n8n, 2Fauth, and Evolution API (via Docker).
Future Plans:
I intend to host an ASP.NET MVC website and a mail server on this same instance.
What I’ve Tried So Far:
-
Implemented resource limits for individual applications.
-
Attempted to reduce storage overhead.
-
Used YunoHost’s built-in cleaning tools.
Unfortunately, these steps haven’t yielded the performance improvements I was hoping for. I’ve attached some screenshots of my current resource usage below. Does anyone have suggestions on specific configurations or tweaks to better balance this specific stack?
