Roundcube can't connect after password change

I had roundcube installed and working, then I changed my user password and now roundcube cannot connect to the IMAP server. Says authentication error - I presume password. I tried removing it and reinstalling but same issue.

All my other apps work. I’ve tried searching but don’t want to edit configs as it should be using the ldap. Any suggestions?

Do you manage to connect to your server using a desktop email client (like Thunderbird) ?

It may come from dovecot. Try to restart the service (Admin > Services > dovecot > restart)
