While trying to upgrade via the normal update routine (Browser-based) the update ended with an unspecified error code “An error occured inside the script snippet”.
I have since solved the problem in a very unusual way, after the error occurred identically during further tests on two different servers with different installations.
First, I successfully installed another version of Redmine on a separate subdomain. I then had one version numbered 6.1.1~ynh1 and another version numbered 6.1.2~ynh1. After that, I was able to upgrade the first (active) version without any errors and uninstall the second version. It’s not exactly elegant, but it worked.
