RAM usage for Gitea and Forgejo

To run Forge YNH App request 2G of RAM… and Gitea YNH App only 100MB. Somebody now why this difference?

Looking at the latest PRs of both apps :

  • Gitea :
Peak RAM usage during this test: 372MB
RAM usage diff after test: 333MB
Disk usage diff after test: -201.7MB

Peak RAM usage during this test: 231MB
RAM usage diff after test: 146MB
Disk usage diff after test: 111.9MB

But the ram usage may differ in production environment. You can report the ram usage in your server to help.
