[Rainloop] Lightweight webmail

Bonjour,
Quelqu’un aurait-il un moyen simple de prolonger la durée de connexion de Rainloop ? J’ai la fenêtre ouverte en permanence, et je dois malheureusement rafraîchir régulièrement la page afin de me reconnecter.
Merci :wink:

Hi,
In your settings, under Security, there is an Auto Logout parameter. Is it set to Never or something else ?

Yes, it’s set to Never.

Ok. And when you say you get disconnected from Rainloop, are you redirected to the login page or do you get an error message ?

I get an error message when I try to do something, I need to refresh the page to relog in.

Mh, what’s the error message exactly ?

When I click on “refresh messages” button :

Before going further I suggest you to open a dedicated topic for your problem (this disconnection is not a normal behaviour).

Thank you :wink:

Bonjour,
J’ai résolu ce pb d’installation:
php -v pour connaitre la version de php

puis tu installes php-curl et php-xml qui correspondent à la version de php installée.

sudo apt install php-curl
sudo apt install php-xml

(
sur mon serveur avec une version 7.3 les commandes sont :
sudo apt install php7.3-curl
sudo apt install php7.3-xml
)

verification si c’est bien installé :
php7.3 -i | egrep --color=auto -i “curl support|iconv support|json support|dom/xml|zlib support”
tu dois avoir :

cURL support => enabled
DOM/XML => enabled

Ensuite, relance l’installation de rainloop.

New stable release :champagne:

I just installed Rainloop today, to compare it to Roundcube. I think it might be my new favourite choice for checking and sending email!
I also like the fact that I can switch between Rainloop and Roundcube and all my messages and folders are where they ought to be. I simply had to export my Roundcube contacts and import them into Rainloop–no problem! Thanks for this cool application.

Hi!
I upgraded rainloop but the following warning message was displayed:
Warning: You should stop using Rainloop, its upstream code is not maintained anymore

Is that warning true?
Which web client is now recommanded to replace rainloop?

Yes see → [Security] Rainloop suffers a security bug

Merci !

Could rainloop and snappymail cohabit?
(during a test phase)

Yes.

C’est ce que j’ai fait. SnappyMail fonctionne très bien chez moi.

yes, in fact, i still got the two installed on my server … just removed the right to access it .
still usefull to copy the coinfiguration from rainloop to snappy.
i’ll remove rainloop when i’ll be sure everithing is working

This post is about Rainloop not SnappyMail. Please use SnappyMail page : [SnappyMail] Lightweight webmail
