I have access to my server : Through SSH | through the webadmin

Hello,

I would like to use yunohost for mail on my domain mydomain.tld
So my adress would be name@mydomain.tld

A the begining I had install Rainloop is on a sub-domain : mysubdomain.mydomain.tld
And mydomain.tld was the main domain

Now I ask myself if it is possible to have mysubdomain.mydomain.tld as main domain ? so sso and webmail will have mysubdomain.mydomain.tld adresses.

Like this mydomain.tld won’t be use anywhere as url adress with yunohost.

If it is not the good practice with yunohost I won’t try. Just want to no if it would possible or no to do this way.

Yes, it is.

For me it is the other way around: I started with sub.domain.tld, because I already had my mail on domain.tld before that.

Only after Yunohost was running, I’m about to migrate mail from sub- to maindomain. You might have to change some DNS settings (pointer/reverse DNS comes to mind, and domain keys).
