Question about DNS settings for the mailserver and messages from dns-diagostic

Hello everybody,

I ve a question about the dns-settings and the corresponding messages from the dns-diagnostic-tool.

My YunoHost server

Hardware: virtual server in a datacenter with permanent internet connection
YunoHost version: 4.3.6.3 (stable).
I have access to my server : through the webadmin and SSH if necessary
Are you in a special context or did you perform some particular tweaking on your YunoHost instance ? : I assume “special context”
If yes, please explain: On my fresh installed yunohost server I checked the diagnostics for my maindomain

Description of my issue

When running the dns-diagnostic the system told me an error:

Type: MX
Name: @
Current Value: 10 mail.my-domain.com.
Expected Value: 10 my-domain.com.

I pointed https://my-domain.com to my yunohost.

In my DNS-Webfrontend I cant create an MX-Entry without a specific host (mail) for my domain. The host mail.my-domain.com points to the IP of my yunohost - is the same like my-domain.com.

Can I ignore this error? Or is this not a good idea? And if what can I do to fix it?

Thank you for your help

Yes if you are sure it return the good MX IP, feel free to push the ignore button.

All right - thank you
