Pleroma Yunohost is at version 2.6.2~ynh2

There is now a version 2.7 that fixes many important bugs and issues and this is not yet available via Yunohost.

The GitHub for Yunohost Pleroma seems to show the automated build for v2.7 has failed?

There is a branch called ci-auto-update-2.7.0 here:

Is there a reason why this Pleroma 2.7 version cannot be made available?

Or is there a way for individual Yunohost users to manually choose to install the updated version rather than the older version currently in the Yunohost Applications catalogue?

Indeed. Note that there are two PRs on this.

Yes, the README of the repo mentions installing the testing branch: GitHub - YunoHost-Apps/pleroma_ynh: Pleroma package for YunoHost: A free, federated social networking server built on open protocols.

Simply replace the “testing” by whatever branch you want to test. Spoiler: it will most likely not work, your feedback and debugging is welcome in the appropriate venues. :slight_smile:
