phpLDAPAdmin app won't upgrade - fails to create backup

Describe your issue

I am trying to upgrade this app. I’ve tried both from the Admin Web Console and from the terminal. In both cases the upgrade fails with the message “Could not back up phpldapadmin”

In the log the backup command seems to fail because of a “phpversion: unbound variable” error, but I don’t know what that means. Possibly related to a similar error in a different app?

First off, I won’t be of any help solving your problem, sorry.

I did try to use phpLDAPAdmin in the past a number of times though, and only once got a perhaps somewhat working result. Most of the time it only looked like a non-functional web experiment.

Could you actually use it? Is it supposed to look as if the style sheet is broken?

Hi, what sense is there to upgrade?
As a matter of fact, it is just an graphic interface for the LDAP. No personal data is stored in this app. Just desinstall-re-install, and it should be ok

However, I don’t know if this fixes your issue.
