Outdated version of photoprism in Yunohost repositories

Hi all,

new to Yunohost, less new to self-hosting. I’m currently in the process of setting up a Yunohost instance for my girlfriend and me. I really <3 the concept of Photoprism.

While installing the app, I noticed that Yunohost uses a version that’s over 1.5 years old. We use version 2022.09 and current release as per GitHub - photoprism/photoprism: AI-Powered Photos App for the Decentralized Web 🌈💎✨ is 2024.05.31.

Is there an app maintainer who could be troubled to package an update of Photoprism for Yunohost?

Yes, it’s a known issue. It will be updated when Yunohost upgrades to Bookworm.

Thank you! I didn’t realize migrating to Debian 12 Bookworm was such a headache (and a prerequisite for updating certain apps). I’ll patiently wait for migration to 12 to become stable :slight_smile:
