I have an interest in installing Openwisp on yunohost to mange Openwrt Routers that I manage. I’m also really interested in connecting my VPS yunohost instance to my local networks via VPN. - Is anyone else interested in those Apps? I’d put them on the wishlist but I’m too new to be able to.

Neither of these apps are currently supported. I think Wireguard server app is currently broken / unsupported.

I’m not really answering the questions, but did you have a look at YunoHost app store | Headscale which may fit your needs.
