Opened ports or DMZ

Hi,
Is it security risk putting yunohost server to DMZ?
Are Yuno firewall and fail2ban sufficiently protective for server?

I believe yes. Many people host a Yunohost on a VPS, which most of the time is like having a Yunohost on a DMZ
