Old yuno hostname and fresh install

I installed a yuno server using your hostname (thanks for the service) if i wanna format the machine and do a server clean install can i use the same domain? Or is not possible? The ddns is protected by a password or how this work? Wheb i installed the system i remeber it was a admin password to access the server but i don’t remember if there is a password for access to the hostname i’ve registered

Hi @freespirit ,

You have to ask here Nohost domain recovery - Suppression de domaine en nohost.me et noho.st and the Yuno Team will delete YouDomain.nohost.me or YourDomain.noho.st.
Then you could be able to reuse it on a brand new fresh installation of YunoHost.

Thanks for the reply. I hope devs will implement a kind of token to backup to avoid this solution

There’s an ongoing pull requests here : https://github.com/YunoHost/yunohost/pull/335 but it’s currently not the priority given the number of other things we gotta work on :cry:
