[Nextcloud] download stops after a few seconds

My YunoHost server

Hardware: VPS Kimfusi KS4
YunoHost version: 3.4.2.4

Description of my problem

After sharing a folder with a public link, read only, you can’t download files from this folder, the downloads stop after a few second on every browser, with message like this:

33

It did work very well a few days ago. What could be wrong? Some configuration? I can’t see nothing on the Nextcloud log.

Thanks for your help.

EDIT: This does not only occurs on public share folder. I really can’t download anything anymore from Nextcloud, even when I am browsing as a user and download a file, it fails after +/- 5 secs.

It seems like an instable wifi or something like this.

Or it might be your web server (nginx) restarts regularly ?

Is this link bigger than previous shared files ?

Hello @ljf and thanks!

Tested on strong wifi and ethernet and from multiple location, everytime the same problem.

How can I find out?

Links are actually smaller. All sizes of links have problems. I use to be able to share 3GB files without any problem.

It seems like there is a king of a timeout problem, like after 3 seconds, it stops the download, everytime.

Update,

This does not only occurs on public share folder. I really can’t download anything anymore from Nextcloud, even when I am browsing as a user and download a file, it fails after +/- 5 secs.

Downloading works from Transmission.

A big problem for me, any help welcome.

Hello Team,

I am too having this issue, after certain time download stops.
Could you please let us know if there are any workaround for this?

Sorry I did not update this thread. My mistake.

For me, the problem was that my /mount point was full. Because one app (Funkwhale) was not using space on my home folder, but was talking all the space on the /var folder.
After I made some free space, Nextcloud downloads were working as expected.
