What app is this about, and its version: hubzilla 11.4
What YunoHost version are you running: 12.1.41.2 (stable)
What type of hardware are you using: Old laptop or computer

Describe your issue

I have a problem with the installation:

  • It recognizes my channel clones and has successfully downloaded the profile to the new channel. It lists those channel clones in Settings: Channel Locations.

However, they do not recognize my new channel clone.
In fact, it seems to be invisible on hubzilla entirely.
I am unable to find the channel in the Add Connection dialogue, for example.
I do not receive posts from any of my connections.

This is a new domain and subdomain.
I have checked that my dns records are resolving properly and the ports are forwarding properly.

I had this identical problem with Hubzilla (an earlier version) when I installed it, a few months ago.

I wonder if it could be connected to this (quoting: https://hubzilla.com.br/help/adminmanual/manual_for_administrators):

If you are using LetsEncrypt to provide certificates and create a file under .well-known/acme-challenge so that LetsEncrypt can verify your domain ownership, please remove the .well-known directory or rename it once the certificate has been generated. The software provides its own handler for ‘.well-known’ services during installation, and an existing directory in this location may prevent some of these services from working correctly.

Update: I discovered that the hub is not exactly “invisible”, however remains flawed. Eventually I solved all problems by setting up Hubzilla in a YunoHost “my_app”.
