If yes, please explain:

Description of my issue

I installed the My_webapp app and selected for a mysql installation NO.
Now i want a communication test between the webapp and a sql database and dont know…

  • should i use the already preconfigured mysql database that comes with yunohost installation
and create just a new database that is restricted to the webside.

  • should i use seperate mysql installation (i guess no)

  • should i unistall and install the webapp again?.

Its unclear for me what the My_webapp do if i choose yes for a mysql while the app installation.

Tips are welcome.

It creates the mysql DB for you. And it backup/restore it correctly.

So i advice you to reinstall my_webapp by selecting yes to the mysql db question.

If you create on your side the db, keep in mind that you have to manage the backup/restore of this part by yourself.
