Bonjour !

Après avoir acheté un nom de domaine, j’ai demandé ici la suppression du nohost.me que j’utilisais jusque-là. J’ai reçu ce matin une notification comme quoi le domaine était “not found”. Pourtant il redirige toujours bien vers mon serveur. Peut-être est-ce lié au fait que je l’avais déjà supprimé sur le serveur ? Je l’ai remis, au cas où, mais ça me paraît bizarre. Y a-t-il quelque chose que je dois faire ?

Did you already remove the nohost-domain from Yunohost in the mean time? I have no experience with it, but perhaps the sends a message to the nohost-system that the domain can be removed?

Yes, I first removed the nohost domain from my Yunohost, then posted in the forum for it to be removed. About two weeks later (that’s today xD) I was told that it was not found, but I don’t know what that means and what can be done.

You asked for the domain to be deleted and it was deleted.

DNS propagation takes time, generally 24 to 48 hours but in some circumstances it can take longer (sometimes a week).

DNS cache can also be the culprit, although most OSes have ttl less than one day (to my knowledge). Flushing dns cache can help.

Oh, so that means it had already been deleted prior, and that’s why it was “not found”? And from now I just have to wait for it to disappear, and if necessary, flush dns cache?

It totally was a bug during the removal process. I tried again last night and it worked. :slight_smile:

Merci ! Pour savoir, sous quel délai est-ce que le domaine cesse de renvoyer vers mon serveur ? Quand je le rentre je vois qu’il dirige toujours vers une connexion Yunohost ^^’

Ahem… ce n’est pas normal. Je vais appeler à l’aide des experts en DNS.
