The main domain of my server is (example) server.helloworld.it. Nevertheless, the main address I am using for my personal, static website (my_webapp) is the helloworld.it TLD. Similarly, I want my email address example@helloworld.it to be the main reply-to email address used by the server (e.g. by Nextcloud, hosted on cloud.helloworld.it). Nevertheless, the MX DNS records for helloworld.it point to Proton Mail. Since Proton Mail is encrypted and does not offer SMTP/IMAP access, I cannot use it as SMTP relay.
I am wondering how I can configure all my email addresses so that people see emails coming from helloworld.it, but I can still receive emails from the server in Proton Mail.

No error messages, it’s just that if I set whatever@helloworld.it I don’t receive emails from the server any more…
