Migration from Jellyseerr to Seerr

Hello Jellyseerr users!

As you may know now, for a few monthts, Jellyseerr has been rebranded to Seerr.

The YunoHost package had been updated to reflect the name change, but the app id was still jellyseerr, which I wanted to migrate also.

So I’ve updated the package and tested the migration more than once, and it seems to work great.

I kindly ask for some Jellyseerr users to test it also before making it public. You just have to run following command by cli:

EDIT: it’s now considered as stable, please read the posts bellow.

Résumé

sudo yunohost app upgrade jellyseerr -u `` GitHub - YunoHost-Apps/seerr_ynh at testing · GitHub .

After the upgrade, you’ll have to wait approx. 1 minute for the old Jellyseerr app to be completely removed. No worry, all your data will be migrated so you should not loose anything. But please backup first, in case.

Unfortunately, a fully automated solution is not yet available. To see the change (and to be able to receive further upgrades), please do by cli:

yunohost app upgrade jellyseerr -u https://github.com/yunohost-apps/seerr_ynh
